Satisfy your happily ever after with this year’s lineup of romantic, holiday-themed movies to watch from the comfort of your own home

Narrative

Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.. The movie was filmed on location at the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which really does look like this all year long. The locations that served as the Higman family’s store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are real-life stores owned by the family as well.

Nope, nothing, boring, silly

The Square also has Christmas lights just like the ones in the movie.. sorry, but where the hell did Christmas go??? I think this movie is awful!!

Hallmark hyped it up so we could all watch it with anticipation – what a mistake!

I know a lot of people are going to roll their eyes at this review, but hey, that’s just my opinion. I thought the actors did a good job with what they had to work with, but what really surprised me was at the very beginning when the leads were sitting around the fire and at some point they stood up and suddenly held hands… No, it doesn’t happen like that, there was very little preparation to produce a hand holding at that moment.

The CGI or whatever it’s called was so blatantly fake

The fact that the lead actress put so much faith in a hat was nothing short of absurd, she was ready to throw her potential life partner away for a hat – seriously? As another reviewer stated, it was truly a disaster and a super disaster! I gave the acting a 6, some parts were okay, especially with the grandfather, I found him endearing.

Sorry Hallmark, you missed your mark with this one
